AP Govt has introduced measures to raise education standards in Govt Schools: CM
Stating that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a series of measures to better the quality of education through the flagship Badi Pilustondi programme, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that they are working towards bringing government schools on par with private schools.
Addressing the state-level convention of Telugu Nadu Upadhyay Sangham, the Chief Minister said that the government has taken up merit-based appointment of teachers. “Not only will students be graded, but teachers also will be assessed for their performance,” he added.
Underlining the need to embrace the latest technologies, he appealed to teachers to ensure that tech-based teaching is incorporated into the curriculum.
