Hyderabad,24july2024: A special Cervical Cancer Screening camp was organized at the Raj Bhavan Community Hall on Wednesday for the benefit of Raj Bhavan women staff and their family members. The initiative, led by Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, aimed to provide comprehensive health tests.
Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan emphasized the importance of cervical cancer prevention, noting its high incidence among Indian women. He highlighted the effectiveness of vaccination, regular screenings, and education in reducing cervical cancer cases.He further appreciated the efforts of KIMS Cuddles for arranging the screening camp.
A team from KIMS Cuddles, Secunderabad, including doctors, technicians, and paramedical staff, conducted the screenings. Principal Secretary to the Governor Burra Venkatesham, IAS, and several prominent medical professionals were present.
