As per the directions of the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana instructed the officials to prepare models for taking up multi layer avenue plantation along road side in the stretch to bring out pleasant view with colorful flowering plants on the roads.
The Chief Secretary held a review meeting with the officials of various departments to take up multi layer avenue plantation of flowers and plants on various roads of GHMC, HMDA, ORR, R&B, Panchayat Raj, NHAI today at BRKR Bhavan.
He reviewed on identification of stretches, length, width of roads, species of plants and their maintenance to be taken up for plantation. He advised the officials to take up dense plantation in a big way and also specific plants for single layer plantation. He asked the officials to prepare district wise details on multi layered plantations in respect of length and stretches to be taken up by departments.
