East Godavari: Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy commenced his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Day 209 from Rayavaram mandal of Mandapet constituency in East Godavari district on Monday morning.
A group of Kapu leaders called on YS Jagan who is on yatra in the district. They brought to the notice of the party chief the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s deceived politics in according BC status to kapus. The Kapu leaders vowed to extend their support to YS Jagan in the next elections.
They also alleged that Chandrbabu did not honour the promise of providing job to one person in every family but succeeded only in inducting his son Lokesh in his cabinet
YS Jagan padayatra has been receiving unprecedented response in East Godavari. People from all sections of the society are making a beeline to meet and talk to the mass leader. People are thronging the route in which YSRCP Chief is walking and meeting him to pour out their woes. YS Jagan is continuing his padayatra while assuring the people his help.
Earlier, cinema personalities Posani Krishnamurali and Pruthvi had met YS Jagan during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra.
