Union Minister for IT, Law & Justice, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad visits T-Hub as a run up to the 1st year Anniversary
-Leaves Hyderabad super impressed with initiatives undertaken by T Hub to make Hyderabad one of the top start up cities in the world –
5th November, 2016: Union Minister IT, Law &Justice, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad visited T-Hub along with KT Rama Rao, IT Minister Telangana. The visit was an initiative as a run up to the 1st Anniversary that T-Hub will be celebrating on 12 th November 2016. The union minister was extremely impressed with the walked through showcase of the Catalyst building that is the center of all T-Hub activity.
On his visit, Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad stated, “T- Hub clearly embodies what we believe India’s startup ecosystem should stand for. What T-Hub has done for India, is impressive and we hope we can take this example to many states across the country. I will surely use this as an example of progress and innovation wherever I travel in the world. The innovative startups I met and the work they are collaboratively creating makes me congratulate T-Hub and the government of Telegnana on this great achievement. Hyderabad is emerging as a innovation hub city”.
While walking the Union Minister through the premises of the showcase building of T-Hub – The Catalyst, KT Rama Rao commented, “WE are happy with the progress we have made through T-Hub. Today we can confidently stay Hyderabad is fast progressing as a city that could be seen as a gateway for innovation to and from India. with the successful launch of T-Bridge we are confident of the increased investment flow into the state.”
Thanking the Union Minister and the Minister of State, Founder and COO, Srinivas Kollipara stated, “We are encouraged by the response by the Ministers. Our aim is to ensure we have enough start up activity happening in different parts of the city with innovation and scale at the core of what we do. We are proud of the unique model we have set up in Hyderabad which is not only structured but also provides ready access to anyone looking at startup activity in India. We thank Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad for acknowledging the efforts undertaken by T-Hub to make Hyderabad and India one of the top startup destinations in the world”.
The highlight of Shri Ravi Shakar Prasad’s visit to T-Hub was the battery operated bicycle that the minister rode and was extremely excited to share with his followers on twitter. The Minister also witnessed several innovations by startups such as PayMatrix – payment of monthly rent and rent advance on credit card, Ambercare – on demand ambulance aggregation platform to connect hospitals owners and users, Any time Loan – provider of reliable, transparent and real time credit to millions of Indians for their personal, children education, business or any other needs, by leveraging technology, Gayam Motor works – Vehicle management system, Hug Innovations – World first gesture control smart watch, Olivo – fully integrated, patient centric or personalized care management for chronic patients.
