CP, CAR Head Quarters and Sri P.Pramod Kumar Jt. CP SB City reviewed the Bandobust arrangements in South Zone in view of Bakrid and Ganesh Immersion Bandobust arrangements with all ACsP, Addl.DCP and DCP South Zone. He visited the sensitive Places like Charminar, Puranapool, Mir-Alam Tank Eidgha, Ballapur Tank, Kandikal Gate, Gowlipura, Mohammed Shukhoor Mosque, Haribowli Chatrinaka review the Law and Order situation in the localities.
Sri M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City conveyed the advance wishes in view of Bakrid festival.
Speaking to the media, CP Hyderabad said that, Hyderabad City Police deploying 15,000 police of various wings like Law and Order, Task Force, SB City, CAR, City Security Wing, Traffic Branch and Home Guards and 5000 outside police total 20000 police + 10 CAPF forces COYS, in entire Hyderabad city, along with the other departments in bandobust arrangement of Bakrid and Ganesh to celebrate the Festival in a peaceful and joyful atmosphere and there is no threat perception or alerts in Hyderabad City. Since last one month the Hyderabad City Police actively participating in arrangements.
He appealed the citizens to celebrate the Bakrid in Clean and neat atmosphere. Free empty bags with the Help of GHMC and the Minorities welfare Department sanction one lakh rupees for polythin bags for packing the sacrificed animas waste. All the bags are distributed in the areas involving the community. GHMCE Official are also distributing the empty bags. The people are requested to keep the waste in the bags and so that it will be convenient to the GHMC Officials to collect the same and requested to keep their surrounding clean and tidy.
He requested not to believe the rumour which is being communicating through the social media. If any such information or rumours received by any citizen should inform in nearest Police Station and requested not to share it to other groups. If such is noticed action will also be taken against the person who shares the message. Till now, the people are under impression that the police will take action against the person who generate the rumour but police will also take action against the persons who spread the rumours. The citizens can also inform the police through dial 100.
Hyderabad City Police will work with the co-operation and help of the community and the youths.
12000 CCTV cameras Hyderabad city under the community CCTV Project and specially 400 CCTV cameras are installed in the main procession routes, tributary routes and lanes and by lanes. All the CCTV cameras are integrated and connected command control of Hyderabad City. The Bakrid festival prayers at Eidgah and the Ganesh procession will be monitored through the CCTV cameras from Police Station level, Division level, zonal level and Command control level. All the movement will be recorded.
