Rachakonda Charithraka Paryavarana Paryataka Pari Rakshana Samithi(Rachappa Samithi) today met Hon’ble Chairman Sri.Pervaram Ramulu, IPS(Retd.), Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation and requested to take developmental activities at Rachakonda and promote it as a best Tourism Destination.
The Samithi headed by Sri.B.Krishna Kumar, S.Venkatesham, K.Anjireddy, M.Chandraiah, & N.Nagesh, of Samastan Narayanpur urged the Hon’ble Chairman, to develop in and around places of Rachakonda since its has a historical background.
The Hon’ble Chairman, Sri.Pervaram Ramulu, IPS (Retd.)., TSTDC, informed the Samithi members and appreciated their efforts for preserve the importance of the historical place – Rachakonda.
The Hon’ble Chairman, TSTDC briefed that after formation Telangana State, Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation has taken lot of efforts to promote Tourism including historical place of importance like Rachakonda which was the first capital of Telangana. The Hon’ble Chairman, TSTDC also informed that detailed projects report was already submitted to Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, to sanction funds for Rachakonda, Devarakonda, Bhongir, Khilashapur, and Rajapet Fort to develope the Fort Circuit providing basic tourist infrastructure such as accommodation, restaurant, pathways and lighting with an estimated budget of Rs.100 crores.
Sri.P.Purander, Asst.General Manager(Public Relations & Marketing) of Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation was also present on the occasion.
