Protecting life and property of citizens from Fire is of utmost importance

Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home and Smt. P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister for Education, Telangana State jointly convened a meeting in the chambers of Minister Home with the Senior Officers on Saturday to discuss the issue of NOC to be issued to the Colleges from Fire Services Department and the difficulties being faced by Board of Intermediate Education in sanction affiliation and to resolve the problem which has an effect on lakhs of Intermediate Students.  The  Minister for Home said that … ..protecting life and property of citizens from Fire is of utmost importance. At the same time the careers of the students cannot be neglected and all steps are taken to facilitate education with all protective measures for their safety.  It was decided to find a solution to this problem in the light of the Act and the Rules duly taking into consideration the problems for the student community in this extraordinary year of Covid-19 reminding that State Government passed all the students of X class. Smt. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister for Education said that Home Department Officials will examine this issue carefully and suggest a solution considering the extraordinary situation. Mohd. Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home said that the matter will be examined in detail  and orders will be issued accordingly by Home Department in due course. Smt. Chitra Ramchandran, IAS, Spl. Secy. to Govt., Education Department,  Ravi Gupta, IPS., Principal Secretary, Home Dept., Sanjay Kumar Jain, IPS., DG Fire Services,  Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Commissioner, Intermediate Education, Vishwajit Kampati, IPS, Director, Enforcement, GHMC were present in the meeting.
