Education Minister Smt Sabitha Indra Reddy said that promotions to teachers should be completed by the end of this month in accordance with the directions of the Chief Minister. The Minister conducted a meeting with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS and other senior officials of the education department today and held detailed discussions on various issues pertaining to the department.
The Education department officials were directed to prepare an action plan to complete the promotions of various categories of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff. The issues related to transfers, mid day meals, TET Examination, opening of Educational Institutions was also discussed. The Hon’ble Minister will finalize these step ahead after discussion with Hon’ble Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary reiterated the Chief Minister’s instructions to complete all promotions by the end of this month in accordance with the existing system that is in place for promotions.
Special Chief Secretary Chitra Ramachandran, Principal Secretary Vikas Raj, Secretary Intermediate Education Jaleel , Commissioner Technical and College Education Navin Mittal, Commissioner School Education Smt Devasena were present.
