He said, “Many global issues may not seem economic but, carry significant economic cost. Foremost challenges are Climate Change where Paris Agreement showed way forward. Focus shouldn’t just be on early ratification, but full success. We also have to safeguard climate justice. It requires affordable financing & environmentally sound technology for developing countries. We must uphold principles of equity & CBDR and curb reckless consumption & encourage lifestyles in harmony with nature.”
Speaking of terrorism PM said, “One single nation in South Asia is spreading agents of terror in our region. Those who sponsor & support terrorism must be isolated and sanctioned. Urge international community to act in unity & respond against terrorism”.
Speaking on global and public health security he said, “Global & Public health security is an imp issue. Need global partnerships in sharing new vaccines & access to affordable drugs for developing world.”
He concluded the final session intervention by thanking President Xi Jinping for the hospitality over the last two days
