Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met President Pranab Mukherjee and briefed him on yesterday’s terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri district which claimed 18 lives.
The Prime Minister called on the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan late this evening, sources said.
The visit assumes importance in view of the President being the supreme commander of the Indian armed forces.
