Minister KTR visited various parts of the city and inspected the status of nalas and lakes in the city. Later Minister visited several residential areas and interacted with locals to assess the rain damage. Minister instructed officials to ensure impacted families are provided relief on a warfooting. Minister spoke to residents of inundated colonies and assured Government would take all necessary steps to prevent recurrence.
