– People living in low-lying areas are evacuated. We have accommodated them in relief camps.
– We thank all organizations, NGOs, Celebrities, Hotels, and citizens who are coming forward to help.
– Last night 6 cabinet ministers have assessed the situation of of nalas, and the encroachments, which have resulted in flooding.
– Govt will act sternly to deal with encroachments of nalas. We request cooperation of citizens and media in clearing encroachments
– Hare Krishna Foundation and GHMC have prepared 10,000 food packets to distribute to the needy.
– State Govt equipped to deal with any eventuality. NDRFH teams are on stand-by.
– Helicopters have been kept ready for emergency evacuation
