Minister for Health Etela Rajender appealed to the citizens to maintain personal hygiene and keep surroundings neat and clean. While explaining to the visitors who came to meet him in the camp house about precautions to be adopted to contain and control of Dengue, Malaria, chikungunya , and other vector borne diseases.
Further the minister said, to contain mosquito menace the citizens should ensure that there should not be any water stagnation points. Regarding report no cases of Dengue, malaria, Chikungunya is less when compared to last year. GHMC entomology wing demonstrated the Gambusia fish, biological control, which eats the larva and explained to the Hon’ble Minister. Further the Chief Entomologist apprised to the Hon’ble Minister about different varieties of Mosquitoes and the diseases from them.
Later the Minister released poster and pamphlet on every Sunday, 10 AM, 10 minutes programme launched by Minister for MA&UD K.Taraka Rama Rao.
