Hyderabad (India) ,2nd June 2024: International Artist from Hyderabad  U. Vijay Kumar  will participate in another pride exhibition.  He  honoured to be invited In order to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the establishment of Guo Chuang Art Museum in -China and to promote International Cultural Exchange. This  Museum plans to invite 18 Indian, 2 Lebanon, 1 Qatar, 1 South Korean and 1 Bangladesh artists to China for cultural exchange and exhibitions from June 5 th to 14th 2024.  Programme  will be At Guo Chuang Art Museum, No. 17, Fuqian 2nd Street, Tianzhu, Shunyi District, Beijing. * Achievements of  Artist UVK *

U. Vijay Kumar born on 7th October’1955 pursued both his BFA (1983) and MFA
(1985) courses at the M.S University of Baroda.
He was felicitated by Hyderabad Art Society and Exhibition Society with the ‘Award of
Honour’ on the occasion of 83rd All India Annual Art Exhibition – 2024 in admiration of his
contribution to the field of Art.
His first one-man show was held at Ahmedabad’s Hutheesing Visual Art Centre (1987),
then at Hyderabad’s Max Mueller Bhavan (1987), New Delhi’s Sridharani Art Gallery (1988)
and Mumbai’s Jehangir Art Gallery (1991) apart from several others exhibitions.
U. Vijay Kumar’s paintings traversed through innumerable shows across India in cities
like Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Vadodara and Hyderabad.
During his illustrious career, he has been honoured with several prestigious awards such
as ‘Gold Medal’ from H.A.S., Award in All India Youth Art Exhibition – 1987
commemorating Jamin Roy Birth Centenary Year at Calcutta, and Junior Fellowship (Visual
Arts) by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India – 1995-97, Fellowship by Kanoria Centre for Arts,
Ahmedabad – 1985-87
He also participated in several International Exhibitions and Art Camps. A few
significant Exhibitions include International Artist Grand Prize Competition (I.A.C.) at Art
Revolution, Taipei, Taiwan, Rhythm of Thailand – 2
nd International Symposium Workshop,
Phuket, Thailand, 2nd International River Brahmaputra Art Festival – 2018, Gauhati, India,
French Connection – An Indo-French Art Exhibition, Hyderabad curated by Ashis Pahi,
Survival International Art Festival in Cansoria Contemporary Art, Museum, Italy, International
Art Workshop at Museum of Islamic Art, Helwan University , Cairo, Egypt, International Art
Festival at National Gallery of Maldives, Pyramid Art Camp and Exhibition at Hurghada,
