Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao congratulated Kum. P. V. Sindhu for her scintillating and Spectacular performance in Women’s Single badminton in Rio Olympics – 2016. Chief Minister said that Sindhu is pride of India in particular Telangana State. She is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic Silver medal. Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts of Sindhu’s coach Sri. Pullela Gopi Chand. Chief Minister asserted that the Government of Telangana will encourage and support young talented sportsmen and women in future. Hon’ble CM wished her to continue the good run and secure Gold medal for the nation.
