Today is sri krishna jayanthi celebrations at Ahobilam.
As a part of sri krishna jayanthi celebrations, Thirumanjanam is performed to Sri Prahladavaradan (Garudaadri Gopala,).During thirumanjanam sri mudrakartha to his holiness sri kidambi venugopalacharya is presenting thirumanjana kattiyam to lord.

Then Nandini (temple cow) came towards the Lord and stood silently before lord.
Usually Nandini comes to temple only in the morning to attend the viswaroopa seva of lord.
But today,on the day of sri krishna jayanthi ,when , Prahladavarada(Garudaadri Gopala) is enjoying his celestial bath, Nadini came to temple is surprising.

This brought periyalwar’s siruviralgal thadavi parimaara pasuram in our minds.
