Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to divide Mission Bhagiratha works into two parts and Part 1 should be completed by December 31 this year and the Part 2 after six months. The CM also instructed that the teething troubles like leakage of the pipelines, Pipelines breaking down due to the pressure of water, problems with the valves are going to occur when the supply of water begins and they should be attended to then and there. He termed Mission Bhagiratha programme as an engineering wonder and said that it would be remembered for the lifetime. It is a proud moment for everyone that the works on Mission Bhagiratha, which is going to be a role model programme in the country, has been completed in a record time. There is no other programme in the country that provides pure drinking water to 25,000 Habitations. This is the reason why several States and NITI Aayog have appreciated Mission Bhagiratha. Many states have studied the programme to implement them in the respective states.
The Chief Minister on Saturday has reviewed Mission Bhagiratha Programmes in Pragathi Bhavan. Deputy CM Sri Kadiyam Srihari, Minister Sri Jogu Ramanna, Government’s Chief Advisor Sri Rajiv Sharma, Mission Bhagiratha Vice Chairman Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MP Sri Jithender Reddy, Chief Secretary Sri SP Singh, CMO officials Ms. Shanti Kumari, Ms. Smita Sabharwal, Mission Bhagiratha E-in-C Sri Surender Reddy, Advisor Sri Gnaneshwar, Consultant Sri Manohar Babu, CEs Sri Jagan Mohan, Sri Vijay Prakash, Sri Krupakar, OSD Sri Satyapal and others participated.
The CM instructed that under Part 1, 25,000 Habitations should get purified river water as drinking water by December end as a New Year’s gift. He said that there would be some problems for the next few months when once water is supplied through the pipelines and they should be attended to as Part 1 programmes and under Part 2 all the internal works should be done to fix taps to each and every household. He said Part 2 works are also to be completed in the first half of 2018. The CM said there would problems too while supplying water through the internal pipeline and through individual taps and they also should be attended then and there. He said no one should get scared when pipelines leak, damaged and there will be problems with the valves. He reminded that when this programme was implemented in Gajwel, small problems persisted for a couple of months.
As part of the review, the CM examined works taken up all over the State under Mission Bhagiratha through Google Maps. He inquired about the problems cropped up at what places and why. The CM also reviewed the progress made in the construction of Intake wells, Water treatment Plants, OHBRs, laying of the pipelines, electric motor works, district-wise and segment-wise. In this context, the officials have informed the CM that drinking water has already been supplied to 3,431 villages of the targeted 24,225 Habitations under the programme, another 5,443 villages by October end and 6,006 villages by November end and by December end the remaining 9,345 villages will be supplied the drinking water. They said along with the pipelines work, Motors are also been fixed on a fast track.
CM congratulates the Electricity Board

The CM has congratulated the electricity department for making the arrangments to supply the required power supply to the Mission Bhagiratha programme. TS Genco, Transco CMD Sri D. Prabhakar Rao has informed the CM that all the works on Mission Bhagiratha would be completed by October 2. The CM has congratulated the Genco CMD over the phone as they have completed the works two months in advance though the target set for them is Dec 31, 2017. Sri Prabhakar Rao said that at an estimated cost of Rs. 300 Crore, works such as the construction of Sub Stations, arranging the power cables, installing the Transformers were done. He informed CM that to supply 221 MW uninterrupted power supply to Mission Bhagiratha, 42 Sub-stations, 1,190 KM pipeline, 87 Power transformers were put in place.
Top priority of Munugode, Devarakonda

The CM wanted the drinking water supply to be given top priority to Munugode and Devarakonda Constituencies, which are fluoride affected. In these two constituencies, the CM said works should be completed by October end and internal works should be taken forthwith. He also wanted that all the tribal Thandas, Dali Wadas, and Gond Gudems should be supplied with the drinking water cent percent.
Deputy CM’s team to visit Palair

The CM has expressed his dissatisfaction over the delay in works caused in Palair Segment in the old Warangal district. He said drinking water should be supplied through Palair to 1,706 Habitations in Mahabubabad, Dornakal and Narasampet Assembly Constituencies in the old Warangal district. However, he said that the works are not going as desired. He wanted measures should be taken on a war footing to complete the works in next two months. The CM wanted a team led by Deputy CM Sri Kadiyam Srihari, Mission Bhagiratha Vice Chairman Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy should visit Palair and have a review with the officers and working agencies.
Water to Industry through Mission Bhagiratha

The CM has instructed the officials concerned to supply purified water under Mission Bhagiratha to the Industry sector too. He wanted applications should be invited from the industries, which want the drinking water and lay a special pipeline to ensure continuous water supply. The CM said of the 80 TMC of water allocated for Mission Bhagiratha, there is a facility to supply 10 percent (8 TMC) of water to the industries. For the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, water can be supplied to their needs from 10 TMC dedicated Reservoirs which are being constructed. Water for industries can be supplied from this source. For Municipalities, Corporations, City Panchayats water should be supplied in bulk through Mission Bhagiratha.

సమీక్షలో భాగంగా రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో జరుగుతున్న మిషన్ భగీరథ పనులను సీఎం కేసీఆర్ గూగుల్ మ్యాప్ ద్వారా పరిశీలించారు. ఎక్కడెక్కడ ఏ సమస్య తలెత్తున్నదో అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. జిల్లాల వారీగా, సెగ్మెంట్ల వారీగా ఇన్ టేక్ వెల్స్, వాటర్ ట్రీట్మెంట్ ప్లాంట్లు, ఓ.హెచ్.బి.ఆర్.ల నిర్మాణం, పైపులైన్ల నిర్మాణం, ఎలక్ట్రో మోటార్ పనుల పురోగతిని సీఎం సమీక్షించారు. మొత్తం 24,225 ఆవాస ప్రాంతాలకు మంచినీరు అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంలో భాగంగా ఇప్పటికే 3,431 గ్రామాలకు మంచినీరు అందిస్తున్నామని, అక్టోబర్ చివరి నాటికి మరో 5,443 గ్రామాలకు, నవంబర్ చివరి నాటికి మరో 6,006 గ్రామాలకు, డిసెంబర్ చివరి నాటికి మిగిలిన 9,345 గ్రామాలకు మంచినీరు అందిస్తామని అధికారులు ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రికి చెప్పారు. పైపులైన్ల నిర్మాణంతో పాటు మోటార్లు బిగించే పనులు కూడా వేగంగా చేస్తున్నట్లు వివరించారు.

మిషన్ భగీరథకు కావాల్సిన విద్యుత్ ను అందించడానికి విద్యుత్ శాఖ చేసిన ఏర్పాట్లను సీఎం కేసీఆర్ అభినందించారు. మిషన్ భగీరథ కోసం చేపట్టిన పనులన్నీ అక్టోబర్ 2 నాటికే పూర్తవుతాయని జెన్ కో-ట్రాన్స్ కో సీఎండి డి.ప్రభాకర్ రావు సీఎంకు తెలిపారు. 2017 డిసెంబర్ 31 లక్ష్యంగా మిషన్ భగీరథ పనులు చేపట్టగా, విద్యుత్ శాఖ మాత్రం రెండు నెలల ముందే తమకు అప్పగించిన బాధ్యతలను నెరవేర్చిందని సీఎం కేసీఆర్ జెన్ కో సీఎండికి ఫోన్ చేసి ప్రశంసించారు. రూ.300 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో సబ్ స్టేషన్ల నిర్మాణం, విద్యుత్ లైన్ల ఏర్పాటు, ట్రాన్స్ ఫార్మర్లు బిగించడం లాంటి పనులన్నీ పూర్తి చేసిట్లు ప్రభాకర్ రావు వివరించారు. మిషన్ భగీరథ కోసం 221 మెగావాట్ల నిరంతర విద్యుత్ అందించడం కోసం 42 సబ్ సబ్ స్టేషన్లు, 1,190 కిలోమీటర్ల పైపులైన్లు నిర్మించామని, 87 పవర్ ట్రాన్స్ ఫార్మర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నామని ఆయన సీఎంకు చెప్పారు.
మునుగోడు, దేవరకొండకు ప్రథమ ప్రాధాన్యం:

ఫ్లోరైడ్ పీడిత మునుగోడు, దేవరకొండ నియోజకవర్గాలకు అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇచ్చి మొదట మంచినీరు అందించాలని సీఎం చెప్పారు. ఈ రెండు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో అక్టోబర్ చివరి నాటికే పనులు పూర్తి చేసి, అంతర్గత పనులను కూడా చేపట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లోని గిరిజన తండాలు, దళిత వాడలు, గోండు గూడేలకు నూటికి నూరు శాతం మంచినీరు అందించాలని అందిచాలని కోరారు.
పాలేరుకు డిప్యూటీ సీఎం బృందం:

పాలేరు సెగ్మెంట్ పరిధిలోని పాత వరంగల్ జిల్లా మండలాలకు నీరందించే పనులు కాస్త ఆలస్యంగా జరుగుతున్నాయని సీఎం కేసీఆర్ అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పాలేరు ద్వారా పాత వరంగల్ జిల్లాలోని మహబూబాబాద్, డోర్నకల్, నర్సంపేట అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల పరిధిలో 1706 ఆవాస ప్రాంతాలకు నీరు అందించాలని చెప్పారు. అయితే పనులు అనుకున్నంత వేగంగా జరగడం లేదని చెప్పారు. వచ్చే రెండు నెలల సమయంలో పనులన్నీ పూర్తయ్యే విధంగా యుద్ధ ప్రాతిపదికన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం కడియం శ్రీహరి, మిషన్ భగీరథ వైస్ చైర్మన్ ప్రశాంత రెడ్డి నాయకత్వంలోని బృందం పాలేరు సెగ్మెంటును సందర్శించి వర్కింగ్ ఏజన్సీలు, అధికారులతో సమీక్షించాలని చెప్పారు.

మిషన్ భగీరథ ద్వారానే పరిశ్రమలకు కూడా శుద్ధి చేసిన మంచినీటిని అందించాలని సీఎం అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. మంచినీరు అవసరం ఉన్న పరిశ్రమల నుంచి దరఖాస్తులు ఆదేశించాలని, వారికి ప్రత్యేకంగా పైపులైన్లు వేసి నిరంతరం నీటి సరఫరా చేయాలని సీఎం కోరారు. మిషన్ భగీరథకు కేటాయించిన దాదాపు 80 టి.ఎం.సి ల నీటిలో పది శాతం (8 టిఎంసిలు) పరిశ్రమలకు అందించే వెసులుబాటు ఉందని సీఎం చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగర మంచినీటి అసవరాల కోసం పది టిఎంసిల డెడికేటెడ్ రిజర్వాయర్ కడుతున్నందున అక్కడి నుంచి పరిశ్రమలకు నీరందించడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని వెల్లడించారు. కార్పొరేషన్లు, మున్సిపాలిటీలు, నగర పంచాయితీలకు కూడా మిషన్ భగీరథ ద్వారానే బల్క్ సప్లయ్ చేయాలని కోరారు.
