Amar Devulapalli assumes charge as the President of IJU

Noted journalists from Telangana, Amar Devulapally and Y Narender Reddy have assumed charge as the president and Secretary General of Indian Journalist Union, respectively in Amritsar on 28th october 2018.

Amar who became the President of the IJU in last May has taken over the charge at its ongoing national level meeting in Amritsar in Punjab in which the delegates from over 26 states have participated. He was elected along with Y Narender Reddy as secretary general. His other colleagues from Telangana, Konjeti Satyanarayana and Nagunuri Shekhar too were elected as the members of executive committee.

The others who represented the state in the meet include TUWJ general secretary Virahat Ali, Rajesh, Shankar Shiga, Krishna Reddy, Ailu Ramesh etc.
