GOVERNMENT COMMITTED FOR WELFARE OF HAJ PILGRIMS

  1. Janab Mohammed Mahmood Ali,  Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Telangana said that the State Government would leave no stone unturned  to provide the best facilities to the Haj pilgrims going on Haj this year. Speaking a gathering at the first Haj Orientation Training camp held at Hi-Tech Garden Function Hall at Old Malakpet here today, he said that the Chief Minister  K. Chandrasekhar Rao had instructed to make the best arrangements for Haj pilgrims, as the State Government had sanctioned a budget of Rs. three crores for Haj Committee. The Deputy Chief Minister further  requested the pilgrims to pray   for the development of the country, the state and the community.

Janab Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, MLA   requested the pilgrims to pray for peace, progress and prosperity of the nation, the state and the people.

Janab Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee presided over the meeting and said that this year more better arrangements would be made  for the Haj Camp for departure of Haj pilgrims. He said that the Haj Committee would do more than what the Chief Minister had expected.

Prof. S A Shukoor, Executive Officer,  Telangana State Haj Committee welcomed the gathering and he said that the pilgrims should exhibit patience and resilience during Haj. He said that the Telangana State Haj Committee had been making  the best arrangements for the Haj pilgrims in the country. He said ‘This year out of a total Haj Quota of 1,25,000 for the country Telangana was allotted a quota of 4,066.

Moulana Abdul Rasheed Talha Nomani, Moulana Abbas Zaki  and others highlighted the   rituals and their significance.  Members of the Haj Committee Janab Mohammed Arifuddin and  Janab Abu Talha Mohammed Amjad Ali, Dr. Aqeel Hashmi, Janab M.A. Shafee and  Janab Abdul Khader and  Dr. Aqeel Hashmi, Member of the Haj committee and other dignitaries were also present. A large number of lady pilgrims  also attended the Training Camp,  separate arrangements were made for them.
