56% పూర్తయిన పోలవరం

The Polavaram Irrigation Project has reached an overall progress of 56%, officials reported to the Chief Minister during the 66th review of the project. This includes the head works, the Right Main Canal and the Left Main Canal. 75.8% of the excavation for the spillway and spill channel has been completed, i.e., 846.15 lakh cubic metres out of 1,115.59 lakh cubic metres. This week, against a target of 9.8 lakh cubic metres, 2.86 lakh cubic metres of earthwork was excavated for the spill channel, pilot channel, spillway, left bank and approach channel.28.4% of the concreting for the spillway, stilling basin and spill channel is completed, accounting for a total of 10.43 lakh cubic metres out of 36.79 lakh cubic metres. 41,000 cubic metres of concrete was laid this week.

The Chief Minister also instructed Secretary Shashi Bhushan and the Engineer-in-Chief to prepare a projection of required funds from the Centre at regular intervals, corresponding to a diligent record of the expenditure in the Polavaram Irrigation Project.

అమరావతి, జులై 2: పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు ఇప్పటివరకు 56% పూర్తయినట్టు ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడుకు జలవనరుల శాఖ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. తవ్వకం పనులు 75.80%, కాంక్రీట్ పనులు 28.40% చేపట్టినట్టు వివరించారు. సోమవారం సచివాలయంలో పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టుల పనుల పురోగతిపై 66వ సారి ముఖ్యమంత్రి వర్చువల్ రివ్యూ నిర్వహించారు. కుడి ప్రధాన కాలువ 90%, ఎడమ ప్రధాన కాలువ 61.67% నిర్మాణం పూర్తయ్యిందని, అలాగే రేడియల్ గేట్ల ఫ్యాబ్రికేషన్ 61.30%, కాఫర్ డ్యాం జెట్ గ్రౌంటింగ్ పనులు 90.70% చేపట్టినట్టు అధికారులు ముఖ్యమంత్రికి తెలిపారు.

గత వారం స్పిల్ చానల్, అప్రోచ్ చానల్, లెఫ్ట్ ఫ్లాంక్‌కు సంబంధించి 2.86 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల మేర తవ్వకం పనులు చేపట్టగా, 41 వేల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల మేర స్పిల్ వే, స్పిల్ చానల్, స్టిల్లింగ్ బేసిన్ కాంక్రీట్ పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రికి అధికారులు చెప్పారు.

పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టులో మొత్తం 1,115.59 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్లకు గాను ఇప్పటివరకు 846.15 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల మేర తవ్వకం పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. స్పిల్ వే, స్టిల్లింగ్ బేసిన్‌, స్పిల్ చానల్‌కు సంబంధించి మొత్తం 36.79 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల వరకు కాంక్రీట్ పనులు చేపట్టాల్సి వుండగా ఇప్పటికి 10.43 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. రేడియల్ ఫ్యాబ్రికేషన్ 18 వేల మెట్రిక్ టన్నులకు 11,030 మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల వరకు పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి.
