Heavy divine activity witnessed at Srisailam Temple on 31st march 2018. mainly Akkamahaadevi jayanthi, Kumbotsavam arrangements meeting, special Davanotsavam and discourse on Akkamahaadevi by Dr. M.Mahanthaiah held on the day.
Akkamahaadevi jayanthi performed with high traditional manner. archakaswaamulu and devotees participated with spirit of culture and santity.
kumbotsavam to sree bramarambhaa ammavaaru will be performed on April 3rd 2018. to review the arrangements special coordination meeting held by executive officer . various sections officers and staff attended the meeting. kumbotsavam will be performed for the protection of srisaila kshethram. animal and bird slaught banned on srisailam and every steps to be taken to prevent the slaught. instructions given to the related staff, to be vigilant on the subject. temple officer Maheshwar Reddy appointed as control room special officer.
In the evening on the eve of purnima, karnataka and Maharashtra states devotees performed guggila dhuupam to sree swaamy and amma vaaru. on the eve of chaithra maasa purnima davanotsavam will be celebrated in srisailam.
Dr.M.Mahanthaiah presented discourse on akkamahaadevi in the evening. temple archakaswaamulu felicitated Mahanthaiah.
