The first ever 3 day School Principals’ Convention, 2016, involving Social, Tribal, BC, Minority and Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Societies concluded at Telangana State Police Academy on a promising note today.
The convention was organized to bring all the Societies to a common platform to chalk out future course of action to lead the students, teachers and principals into the 21st century.
Delivering the keynote address, Mr. A.Chandulal, Hon’ble Minister for Tribal Welfare, said, the Chief Minister believes that Bangaru Telangana can be realized only when the aspirations of the marginalized communities fulfilled”. He called upon the Principals to re-dedicate themselves to the cause of education of the underprivileged children. He congratulated Dr R.S. Praveen Kumar and his team for working selflessly in steering the Social and Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions into centres of academic excellence and bringing a sea change in the attitude of the students from poor rural background.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr R.S. Praveen Kumar, said effective leadership is the key to improve the future of the schools and the outcomes of the students. Principals and teachers should adopt new pedagogical practices to suit to the changing times and strive to impart new skill-sets of children to meet the requirements of the industry in future.
Hon’ble Minister presented awards and cash prizes to the winners of the Summer Samurai Projects.
Mr. Mallaiah Bhattu, Secretary, BC Welfare Residential Society addressed the participants and emphasized that the change should come within to transform the Society.
